Publish your first certificate
Add a certificate, attach the auditor’s report, and show it on your trust center with its real status. It takes about five minutes.

Before you start
Have these ready. You’ll type the details from the certificate itself.
- The certificate or the final report from your auditor, as a PDF of 20 MB or less
- The issue date and the expiry date on the certificate
- A decision on who can read the PDF: everyone, only people who sign your NDA, or only your team
Add the certificate
Step 1: Open Certificates
From the dock at the bottom of the app, choose Certs, then Add certificate.
Step 2: Fill in the details
Enter the Standard (for example
ISO/IEC 27001:2022), Issued by, and the Issued and Valid until dates. The certificate number, a short description and the scope are optional.Still being audited? Tick Still in audit, no certificate yet and leave the expiry date empty.
Step 3: Add the PDF
Choose Add a PDF, then set Who can read the PDF.
Public: anyone on your trust center. Behind NDA: after they sign your NDA. Private: only your team.
Step 4: Publish
Select Publish certificate. It appears on your trust center straight away. Save as draft keeps it for your team only.
How status works
You never choose a status; bynh works it out from the dates, every day. A certificate is Valid until 30 days before it expires, then Renews in {n} days, then Expired. In audit shows while you’ve ticked the audit box.
People with the A certificate is about to expire notification on get an email 90, 30 and 7 days before the date.
Automate it with the API
If certificates live in another system, you can add them from a script with a read and write token. See Add a certificate in the API reference for every field.
